Public sentiment - no, other than similar to his lack of urgency around Covid-19, continue obsession around the 2020 election and his waiting 187 minutes to do something that should have taken 1.87 minutes, the broad set of independents will never vote for him again. He showed terrible, ego-centric leadership. Did he incite an insurrection, very hard to say let alone prove. The J6 committee told us little new; no smoking gun emerged.

Legal sentiment - politically, the J6 committee had to issue something. Liz staked (literally) her political career as had Schiff. I have seen nothing that said that he specifically and systemically plotted to overthrow the election.

I will just let everyone know that what happened on 1/6 is babies play compared to what we all are prepared for to save our Country. And it will not be a very long, or fair fight..I promise. Keep stealing elections and find out.

I know you won't believe this, but no one, outside of some libs, even knew the J6 committee was a thing.

No one cared. I have literally NEVER seen a single Trump supporter even reference it, other than to laugh at something that happened after the fact. Casey Hutchinson's disastrous 'testimony' was mocked endlessly, of course.

But I never once heard a single Trump supporter mention following the committee, or even mentioning/dreading anything that they were doing. In fact the majority of the few comments I ever heard from Trump supporters about it was 'Wait, they are still doing that?'

Liz and Adam Schitt ruined their reputations long before this. Trust.
