We are 6 and 0. Where would we be if no coaching change occurred?

We've gone offensively from Muschamp passive to McElwain aggressive. A complete change of philosophy.

Looking at Michigan Defense and DJ Durking, I am not sure even if he was any good in D either. Perhaps it was Durkin who was behind our D. Well who cares now, he is gone.

No, they all know their defense. Mattison too

I told everyone the two jims could make miracles in year one

A few of us said when the change occurred that the turn around could happen quickly. And it is impressive this far but this is a young team with a lot of improvement needed and several tough games to go.

Mus is a good recruiter and coached defense well. He is a VERY bad CEO.

To lose to FSU while holding them to under 100 yards of offense is absolutely ridiculous.

I think I am right on this stat. Only 2 times in the history of college football has a team lost when the opposition was held to under 100 yards....both times was Muschamp at UF.

I just had to ask.

LOL!

Let's see....we lose at least one of East Carolina and Kentucky - if not both.

We definitely lose to Tennessee since our tackling wasn't great.

Ole Miss? Yep they beat us as Nkemdiche eats up our endless plows up the middle and no passes until 3rd and desperate.

Mizzou? They blew us off the field the last two years. This year maybe the margin would have been smaller but there's no doubt they would've won.

2-4 if things went our way. 1-5 if not.

Just think....we were a couple of blocked kicks late in the game against the Cocks from being stuck with Chump again so desperate was Foley to avoid admitting he had royally screwed up.

Foley should have fired him on the field after the Georgia Southern game. It was clear that he couldn't handle the job long before that. Might have been a lynch mobbing in Gainesville if Foley hadn't fired him after last year.

There is no doubt there were still more than a few gators still shaking their orange and blue pom poms in support of Muschamp even at the end. I wonder if the misguided have finally seen the light.

We would have lost the UT game for sure. Muschamp would have never gone for it on 4th down as coach Mac did. Muschamp would have punted and put it all on our defense and hope for a miracle.

I'm very disappointed that this thread exists.

Get it together people. You're better than this.

I mean...I get it...you quit heroine but you can't help but notice the track marks still lingering.

My point precisely Danny. Muschamp was heroin. It took far too long for some of us to recognize the obvious and go cold turkey.

Oh yeah...right.

Well, hopefully all those losers will stop starting threads about him.
I'm mean...geez...what's their problem?

Glad you've got a level head though.

Next step, your meal ticket will lose his gig at the Barn. You'll be talking up muschimp's defense for the Toronto Argonauts in a year or so.

I would say 3-3, maybe 4-2.

He always beat UK and UT.

He might have squeezed out a blocked punt against ECU just before the end of regulation.

Thank you South Carolina for blocking those 2 kicks in the last minutes of the 4th quarter.

Steve Spurrier's legend at UF grew last year, if you ask me

LOL.
Nicely played Tuscan!! Not sure if the CFL could handle him though, probably not enough people knowing what the "midline" is?? That line still cracks me up!!

Well if Muschamp was still here I doubt very seriously we sign Calloway, or Ivey, or Cronkrite, or Scarlett as an example. Of those three, pretty sure Ivey was the only one who was even giving us the time of day. And considering Mac had to have a minor miracle bringing in transfers just to fill out a 2-deep on the o-line, imagine what it would like like without those guys because Muschamp had no one lined up. We are starting and playing as much as three true freshmen up there now, imagine the line without those recruits. Good lord its scary. A year ago we wouldn't have been able to come back from 14 against UT either. So we probably lose to ECU, UK, and UT just based on this years performance. Don't think we beat Ole Miss with last year's offense since our defense would have eventually broke. So we're looking at best 3-3, likely 2-4.

All that said, I don't care though. I thought what Muschamp left here would haunt us for at least two years, but due to some freshmen contributing way above people's expectations AND great coaching, we've turn the corner quickly. So because his WOATness is now gone, I can't be bothered to give a damn about him or think about what might have been if he were still here. I'm enjoying what's here now.

I'm wonder had Muschump realized his mistakes? Is he going to learn from this or will he be that person who will not change from his philosophy..

Doubt it. All most wanted was a change in offensive philosophy. In four years that never happened. Now that he is gone, he found a way to score with hi a players.

You guys don't even understand man. I'm over it but at the same time a part of me wants Muschamp's wife to leave him for another coach who is an offensive genius just to spite him. Am I going too far???
