Way to go Elway!!

Sorry, my wording was confusing. I meant that at some point John Elway was going to move TT because he lacked the talent to be a qb in the NFL. Personally, I wish Denver's coaching staff would have found a way to use Tim as a wildcat qb or short yardage rb. Could have also been effective as a H-back

Agreed. That said, as JD points out, TT would have made a fine back-up, where it not for the media circus associated with him.

As far as Oozie's point about Tebow, nobody's talking about shipping Blake Bortles out, and I wouldn't say he had a better first year as a starter than Tebow. Bortles is going to get an entire additional year before anybody even suggests that he's a bust. But Tebow takes over a 2-4 team, leads a comeback to win the division, throws for 300 yards to beat Rothlisberger in a playoff game, loses on the road to NE and never starts another game in the NFL? It's insane.

Arizona wouldn't have been better off with their defense, playing Tebow and a cloud of dust, than starting Ryan Lindley? Geno Smith was awful last year, much much worse than Tebow's first year, even if you just look at the passing numbers and disregard the fact that Tebow ran for double digit touchdowns, but he's handed the starting job this year and sucked again. Hell, Kyle Orton, who was 2-4 with the same team Tebow took to the playoffs, was starting games this year, but Tebow's not in the league. It makes no sense.
