Lost 2 on the oline too iirc. So the only thing they can do well on offense (run) isn't really there.
After the 1st game against App. State, I came here and said Swamp Donkeys win their 12th in a row by 30 points. Team just flat out sux this year.
Because of 3 consecutive years losing so many players in pre-season due to the "Junction Corner" type work outs in August, Jones took it easy in Fall practice this year. And it shows. Team just ain't tough.
I'm really surprised how poorly they have played...Dobbs has never been super impressive but he looks worse and their O Line looks bad.

Yes our defense is insanely good. Tonight hasnt been the best game but we are still winning 25-0. UT was in a ball game deep into the 4th quarter against Appy St and Ohio.
90% of us predicted 9-4 type year at best. Expected a defensive player or few to be All SEC and one/two to luck up and make All American
Yall were predicting beating Bama, facing LSU in the SECCG, and even predicted the playoffs.
Plus touted Hurd and Dobbs as Heisman candidates.

A third year RB vs a quad of 4 young backs.

Anyone who did that is a fool. Hurd is over rated and Dobbs quite frankly is probably our 3rd best qb. He has a weak arm and is no leader...quite frankly he isn't good enough to be our starter. The fact that Butch hasn't benched him will be his downfall. No way Dobbs takes this team to the heights many ill advised Vol fans thought he would. Actually I would hope he would fall on his face just to show Butch up but I hate you people so bad I just can't stomach the thought of losing to the likes of you and Mr. Ed.

Totally agree. You have outcoached us for sure. The last 2 years we were major choke artists but you guys haven't exactly set the college football world on fire have you? When you have allowed 37!total yards of offense against ANYBODY with 5 minutes to go in the game that is very very good. I don't care what anybody says.

Both teams are 3-0 now. One has at least beat a more credible team. That is all I am saying.
Well damn sorry we can't play Ohio and Appy State. Congratulations on the TV(first year at the school head coach)...I guess next week when we play the New England Patriots we can say we played a quality opponent.
