As a long time basketball coach myself, I was impressed by Golden's decision making and strategy last night after Condon went down. He could've easily panicked mid-way through the first half when we hit a lull (especially when we had Alexis and Chinyelu in at same time) and changed the game plan then. Instead he stayed the course and waited until immediately after halftime to go small and play some zone. The timing of this was so important because it didn't allow Jans to use halftime to make his adjustment to us going small/zone. Miss St had no answers on either end and before they knew what hit them we had gone on that 17-0 run to begin the half. Just a great job by Golden and his staff.
