I swear I've been having flash backs of Addazio with the constant first down draws to Taylor and the inability to throw deep. We we're executing those play action passes to our tight ends and making a lot more strives to stretch the field until after the LSU game. Is Nussmeier being vanilla on purpose & holding back for FSU/Bama, or simply not as confident in the skill sets that Treon has? Treon just doesn't have the same arm to me....thoughts?

In 27 years of following Gator football, sadgator has never seen us "holding back" anything offensively for a future opponent, despite relentless speculation that we may be doing so. We aren't doing it now either.

Constant first down draws? Have you watched any Gator games this year? We've thrown on first down more than anytime since the Spurrier era. In fact sometimes I think we throw too much on first down.

Saturday we did run more on 1st. I checked the play by play. Maybe I'm just being impatient.

This. The runs are coming mainly on 2nd, predictably, time after time. I'd be ok with them if we were getting downhill in a hurry. Instead we run slow developing counters and draw from the gun, it drives me crazy.

If Treon has the same kind of day that he had vs LSU, then we should win against FSU by a landslide. I don't know what's gone so wrong the past 2 games anymore than anyone else, but if we can just shake that off, we can at least end the regular season on a great note.
