Under-achievers or Over-achievers?

well I misread the thread... Im not sure about UGA and TAMU. UGA always comes into the season with high expectations but realistically to me they are unwarranted. Everybody knows they will not do as well as everyone says, so is that really underachieving?? I think the two years with Johnny Football gave them too much credit. They are a good football team but not a team you think has a legit shot coming out of the west. My three would of been Auburn, Arkansas and Tennessee

Actually, the over-achieving SEC has 3 in Matt's Top 10.

10. Tennis-sea - slated for #2 in the SECe, maybe even #1.
6. aTm - squaked about as being the dark-horse for the SECw-C
2. Ugly - supposedly the nearly 'sure-thing' winner of the SECe before losing to AU.
(they did beat AU btw)

I can't see how Matt could have left Auburn out of the #1 spot, being as how they were predicted to be the overall winners of the SEC-C with the 'golden-boy' as their new DC.

At least nobody predicted that the scUM of Mi-Am-I would even win the ACC-C, much less a NC.
===================

However, if we're talking over a period of time instead of just this season:

(found Matt's commentary trite to boring so I just used his list as a talking point)

For the last 2.8 decades, it's got to be the ALWAYS over-rated Notre Dame.
In that period they have the NCAA record for consecutive bowl game losses (9).
They had to finally play Hawaii in a bowl to finally break their losing streak....
The Flaggin' Irish are the newest total has-beens in college football IMOHO.
Last mNC was in 1988 over a weak WVa team. The last media-moron voter 'given' opportunity to actually win a BCS-NC was UA 42 - 14 ND. (-28)
If is wasn't for their golden dome $$$ prop-up and the media-morons over-rating, they'd be Princeton already.... Hearing some idiot-commentator claim that ND is good for college football makes me either laugh or throw up, depending on my last meal and my shifting frame of mind....

The USCw Toejams look to be heading down that same road that the -U- went down.
When it comes to either South Bee-ach or EAST L-A >>> I'm outta here.... o_O
(recruits that 'choose' to go to either place deserve whatever happens to them)
JMOHO"s of course.... ;)

The 'over-achiever' thingy was just a draw on my part and not in the article.
But of course, anyone would put 2015 Mc/Florida at the top of that list.
McElwain is also the 'hands down' National CoY in my book!
GooooooooooooooooGATORS!!!

Best line of the article, “Bulldawging” might replace “Clemsoned” in the college football lexicon. :D

FSUcks 16 - 22 GagTech 3-7, 1-6 ACC
The sucky criminoles are their only win in their last 8 games....

Over: UF and there is a lot of room to get better. They are right in the middle of the heart attack line. They do great we have a heart attack, they do bad we still have a freaking heart attack. But if they are overachieving we are okay. Glad to see some humble folks on this board.
