Glad to see our administration focusing on important things.
I wish they'd get rid of presidential pardons for everything except a very narrow set of crimes. It's incredibly abused by both parties (though worth noting both Obama and Biden pardoned/commuted roughly 4-6x the number of other presidents, including Trump.)

A little fact check for the people.
Barack Obama: Obama granted 1,927 clemency actions during his presidency (including 212 pardons and 1,715 commutations), more than any president since Harry Truman. Most of these commutations focused on nonviolent drug offenders under reforms targeting harsh sentencing laws.
• Donald Trump: Trump granted 237 clemency actions (including 143 pardons and 94 commutations) during his single term. Many of these were controversial, including pardons for political allies.
• Joe Biden: As of December 2024, Biden has granted 36 pardons and 123 commutations, focusing on low-level drug offenders and those rehabilitated over time.
