Although sadgator has moved on, anything that causes Muschamp aggravation, frustration, and discomfort is appreciated.
Heyell yes! Especially for Gator fans who remember that
Muschamp is
comforted by the contract he signed with inept negotiator(s) supposedly representing UF, which allows him to receive
hefty bags of buy-out money from UF, despite circumstances that ought to
disqualify him from it: Not only because he's
verrry gainfully employed as a coördinator-rank coach elsewhere, but also because that elsewhere is at our
oldest real rival in the SEC[*].
-------
Note *: Florida first played Auburn in 1912, and Georgia (according to UF accounting) in 1915. Before SEC Hq. ended our
annual rivalry with Auburn, concluding with Zook hosting our overtime victory in 2002, Florida had played each the same number of games (80 in 2002). So now it's Georgia that's become our most-often played opponent--anywhere. Florida did originally play South Carolina and Clemson even earlier, on a road trip in 1911, but my attachment to various aspects of tradition causes me to resist thinking of the Gamecocks as "
real SEC" (altho' I agree that history proves that the Gamecocks should be recognized as the "
real USC").
