49 to 34 point lead over 2nd place Houston with 2 events left. There's no way they can catch us. Grant Holloway is Superman, scoring 26 points for the Gators with the 4 x 400 relay left.

This is something like Coach Holloway's 5th or 6th straight NCAA title isn't it?

NEW ORLEANS – Florida jumper Yanis David, all-around sensation Grant Holloway and head coach Mike Holloway earned national awards from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, and the Gators' 21 first-team All-America honors were the second-highest men's and women's total in the country, as announced by the organization Tuesday.

Coach Holloway is the USTFCCCA National Men's Indoor Coach of the Year for a second consecutive season and fifth time in his career, with his previous awards coming in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2018—all of Florida's NCAA title-winning seasons. The Gators' indoor track and field team is one of eight Division I programs (FBS for football) to win at least five national titles since the start of the 2009-10 athletics season.

Florida's five indoor NCAA titles since 2010 lead all of Division I by two titles in that span. Factoring in the Gators' four outdoor NCAA titles, the Gators' nine overall national crowns since 2010 lead all Division I programs by four.

In addition to capturing the program's fifth indoor national title, now the third-highest total in NCAA Indoor Championships history, Coach Holloway led Florida's men to the nation's highest total of first-team All-America laurels (14).
