expect a false start, a burnt timeout/turnover or whatever it takes to move backwards barely staying in FG range... Don't forget a hold either for good measure to make sure they stall it if we have another positive play

not a single blitz against a team that plays in a god damn phone booth and still using that huge gap on the open side of the field for gashes coming like against arkansas...
have to rely on them doing us stuff to get a stop, will be 3rd and 2 the entire game...

because now we play prevent like every other team in college now, they got rid of the only thing we had with the same exact offense and now zero recruiting with it...
Oline looked really good in pass protection with Ivey at LT last week I wish we'd stick with it. Sharpe doesn't have the feet to be a tackle and he's too damn heavy.
It's a shame for you guys that you lost Billy Grier. Your offense was really good before he was gone.
LSU hasn't a great defense so anybody would be foolish to expect an offensive showcase. But we don't do anything to help our players make plays. Don't switch up formations a lot, don't put our receivers in motion except on that jet sweep to run, don't use any tempo, nothing. Just line up in the same base formations series after series and hope to outtalent people. Not sure why we reverted back to this after last week. It's a terrible scheme.
I'm done blaming Nuss. He's awful and rightfully deserves to go but Mac picked him because he's calling the game he wants him to call. We have to scrap this for next season and just overhaul everything. Bring in a coach with a simple 1 or 2-read scheme with some zone-read for Franks or Trask if need be. It's the only hope. This offense is miserable to watch.
Receivers aren't getting open and we can't run much. LSU's defense is really good. But I don't think the playcalling is putting our guys in positions to make plays. It's bland with no creativity and not trying to take advantage of what's available. If LSU would just commit to the run in the 2nd half, they would wear us down and score 2-3 touchdowns. Defense has played well considering the youth and lack of depth, but the offense isn't giving us much of a chance to win.
Alright Mac...alright Nuss...this is it...even sadgator can see what is happening on the line. You need to roll appleby out and get him moving away from those ends. You must come up with something different and creative. This moment...right now...is exactly what you were brought here for. Figure it out..make it happen.
