I think it's espn. It has to be... who tf wants to play on black Friday? Heard the excuse was "exposure" lol This is an ACC/ESPN special, Friday night game.
I believe it's an evening game. Luckily, I'm usually off on Black Friday or able to leave work no later than 1PM.
As long as we don't have to listen to Beth Mowins or any chick announcer, along with the drunk Brian Griese and/or Anthony "Dudley Dawson Booger" McFartland. They both suck as well.

I'm guessing its for more viewership and exposure. There are a lot less games on Friday, this game will be the featured prime-time game, not exactly a fan of it but we'll see.
In the fsu football release the specifically pointed out that it was "guaranteed" prime time game. I'm with u on not being a fan of it. We play a Friday night game earlier in the yr with Louisville and we play LSU on a Sunday.... My goodness... we start with Duquesne (spelling?) and I've been waiting to get a piece of them for some time. Gotta get that FCS win back

The original thought was "this sucks" but if it's not a game I'm attending I kind of don't care. Plus if it features the Gators on a night nobody else is playing - sounds good now lol.

The last time the Noles and Gators played the day after Thanksgiving was 1979.

This game has lost its luster & national attention/implications. That is why it was moved to increase ratings/viewership. When is the last time this game was played that both teams were good?
It's a one-year deal. I suspect it will go back to Saturday...unless fsu continues their trend toward Vanderbilt-level program.
At this point I just want to be a Mississippi state type program....
2008 and my opinion one of Tim's best games played as a Gator. He was a bulldozer on that day. Just look at the effort they played with on that day.

Tebow was amazing, and that was an insane effort by that team in that game, but watching those clips of Hernandez with that hard evil slipknot music playing makes sadgator feel admittedly a bit creepy and weird.
Tebow and Hernandez had that shuffle pass down to a science and I really hate the circumstances that surrounded Aaron.
The last time they played when both teams were good? I would say in 2000 and in the 90's.
I can only remember in 2012 is the last time both teams were ranked at the time. As for UF, I can't say we were even good. We almost lost to the Ragin Cajuns and Mizzou. Our offense was more miss than hit that season, well, all the way up till Mullen arrived.

It's true numbers...you guys weren't good that year and we were an epic team. That game was over before it started.
