So after a 4-year hiatus from 2017-2020, the White House is back to spying on Fox reporters. It's like obama never left!

No but I also don't believe he's being honest. Carlson is an opinion show host, who is for entertainment as per his lawyers. So he plays to the base.

Keep in mind, the head of the NSA reports to Biden on all investigations. Now, whether Biden remembers them or not is a different story. However, if this is true then what basis does the NSA have to spy on a citizen? Also keep in mind that it is illegal for the NSA to spy on a US citizen with out a FISA warrant which can only be obtained by the FBI.
So… the question you have to ask yourself is what does the FBI have on Carlson to be granted a FISA warrant and why is the NSA involved? The most likely answer is nothing and therefore the Biden administration is weaponizing the NSA against its citizens which is exactly what Snowden is in trouble for during the Obama administration.
With recent history of FISA abuse, if this is true then this the FISA court should be dismantled along with the NSA.
I’m only surprised there was a whistleblower with a conscience.

I would love to know on what account is Tucker being investigated? Can this whistleblower be trusted? If Tucker was smart, which he is, he’d trickle drip what he was told and not be vague about it.

I wouldn’t say my thoughts change per se. it has been proven that malfeasance within the intelligence agencies occurred against Trump.
I’m more curious as to why the NSA feels the need to look into Carlson and if this is all show or real.

I’m not going to tell you what the Trump admin did was right, I think spying in general is a serious government overreach unless the proof is solid. Which in the case of Trump being spied on was not as the dossier was never verified but was submitted as verified. What that should tell you was that there was no evidence Trump colluded with Russia and the FBI lied to the FISA court to get the warrants. That is a huge problem no matter party affiliation and the parties involved should be prosecuted
Now, Schiff did the exact same thing to congressional republicans as what was done to him later. Again, two wrongs to not make a right but Schiff has no reason to bitch. Devin Nunes, has every right to bitch along with those who were spied on.

I enjoy our debates so I decided to chime in. I find any type of spying on US citizens very fascinating and have researched this topic a lot during Russia collusion in order to understand how these laws work and how they were broken.
These type of webs to catch a single person are cast and never simple so when one goes public, it’s interesting to see who the players are. At least for me.
What I will tell you is spying on political opponents is very frequent and more common than you think. Legally and illegally. Nixon did it with watergate, Obama did it with the IRS, Hillary did it with the intelligence agencies.
What really needs repealing is the patriot act and all it’s sub laws and tentacles. Punishments for breaking spying laws should deserve death, just my opinion.
