Exactly my beliefs and there is no party that represents these views. I simply will vote for the individual who I feel I most identify with these days whether that is Democrat or Republican, but it's becoming harder & harder today. Just to fill out my ballot it takes me hours to go through every single candidate to find & figure out who I most closely identify.
Another thing that really bothers me today & this board is a microcosm of this, is that both sides refuse to discuss & compromise on issues. It happens in some cases but in many cases today it turns into digging your feet in the sand, hold your ground, sling insults. Not many today are willing to actually listen to the other side and find some common ground.
Both parties are also trying to push & promote fear to rile their base and that is absolutely sad. So now you have these far left nuts & far right nuts that are coming out of the woodwork and promoting fear & conspiracy theories.
