IMO the United States will look totally different in 5 years than it does today.
I always go back to what Rush Limbaugh said when he visited Trump at Mar Lago in March of 2017, right after Trump was inaugurated. Rush asked Trump what he thought would happen with this country now that Trump was president. Trump told him that after the excitement of the election calms down, the dems will eventually see that he wants to help the country and they will work with him.
He understands that this will serve his politics, so that's all that counts. The damage to country is meaningless to him.

I was only half-listening to this show the other day that said there was a specific reason they wanted this case tried in Florida vs DC. I think it had something to do with being in Florida and that could potentially be used to block him from running. Not positive though.

BUT, I have seen talks of "strongly suggesting" mask mandates and shutting down businesses and government office because of the "hazardous" smoke coming from Canada's fires. Also talk of this lasting months and months. They are already blaming the anti climate change movement for the problem.
