TYLER, Texas –
The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award announced their weekly honors on Tuesday, as Florida’s Kyle Trask was named honorable mention for his efforts in a crucial 38-27 win over South Carolina on Saturday.

Trask would lead the Gators to a 38-27 come-from-behind victory over the Gamecocks in a pivotal SEC East matchup, as Trask completed 21 of his 33 passes on the day for 200 yards, an interception, and a career-high four touchdowns. While three of his four touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, all four of Trask’s touchdown passes on the day were to different receivers (Jacob Copeland, Freddie Swain, Kyle Pitts and Trevon Grimes). Additionally, he became the first Gator since Tim Tebow (Oct. 20, 2007 at Kentucky) to throw four touchdown passes in a road game. Trask joins good company, as the only other Gators to accomplish the feat since 1996 are Danny Wuerffel (three times), Rex Grossman (twice), Doug Johnson (twice) and Chris Leak (once).

Trask, a native of Manvel, Texas, ranks third among the SEC in QB rating (159.20), while sitting third in passing touchdowns (14) and fourth in completion percentage (67.46%) and yards per pass attempt (8.2).

The No. 7 Florida Gators have a bye this week prior to taking on No. 10 Georgia in Jacksonville next Saturday, Nov. 2, for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on CBS.
