The Florida Gators will have two signees and one target in the All-American Bowl. Both of Florida’s recruits are players who play in the trenches. The Florida target is an instate defensive back who will announce his commitment during the game.

DL LJ McCray

Rivals250 defensive lineman LJ McCray is one of the nation’s best defensive recruits. On Rivals, McCray is the 137th-ranked recruit and the eighth-ranked defensive tackle in the country. He is also the 22nd-ranked recruit in Florida.

McCray was a huge commitment for the Gators and the battle to keep him in the class extended until the Early Signing Period. Auburn was a big player in his recruitment but at the end of the day, McCray honored his commitment and signed with the Gators.

McCray has performed well in the practices and is looking to jump up in the rankings before he takes off for Gainesville. McCray will enroll early at the University of Florida and participate in spring camp.

2. OT Fletcher Westphal

Offensive tackle Fletcher Westphal will not play in the All-American Bowl but was still named to the All-American Bowl. Westphal was a huge pickup for the Gators as they need to improve in the trenches.

Fletcher Westphal is a 6’8” 334-pound offensive tackle out of Tuscarora High School in Leesburg, Virginia. On Rivals, Westphal is the 43rd-ranked offensive tackle in the country. He is also the ninth-ranked recruit out of Virginia.

Westphal holds 39 offers from elite programs like Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, and Tennessee. Westphal will also enroll early at the University of Florida and participate in spring camp.

3. CB Zavier Mincey

Rivals250 cornerback Zavier Mincey is the only Florida target playing in the game. Mincey has been a top target for the Gators and will announce where he has signed on Saturday. Mincey will choose between Alabama, Florida, and Miami.

Zavier Mincey is a 6’2” 190-pound cornerback out of Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. On Rivals, Mincey is the 126th-ranked recruit and the 17th-ranked cornerback in the country. He’s also the eighteenth-ranked recruit out of the Sunshine State.

He holds over a dozen offers from blue-chip programs like Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin. Mincey was also a high school teammate with Florida signee LJ McCray.
