The vibe in Gville right now is at a high that hasn’t been seen since Meyer was in town.
Too bad they didn't pick a tooth to bleach. For offseason teambuilding, Mac had the entire team over to his garage to package jars of his wife's gourmet barbecue sauce for shipping.

Is this a true story? Plz be true
Would you doubt it? I'm still wondering how any serious coach would have time to he peddling BBQ sauce during the season. And then to debut them during a losing stretch to boot. Mac was dumb and tone deaf, good riddance to that f*cking con man.
I honestly thought it was weird enough for him. It woukd not surprise me if MAC got caught being a mass murderer, humping sharks, or making bbq sauce lol dude is just creepy af
With Muschamp yes... with Mac it was more like trying to convince ourselves that this guy can coach in the SEC. Mullen is on fire right out the gates, like most coaches that are good. We'll see how National Signing Day goes but fans are excited and Mullen is making moves.I would say that is true. You forget the honey moon stages with mac and will. Everybody was extremely excited about them.
I will admit, this feels different for you guys.
Also, these team building workouts are always good
I heard that the shark guy is some CEO and Mac looks like him. Either way Mac was a weird dude, not fit for the job, and that guy straight up quit on his team this last season. Bye loser! No doubt in my mind he got some serious skeletons in his closet. Idk how anybody sat down with him and thought "I want him to lead my program!" He's a complete wierdo. And he was on that shark.
You know the McElwain years were a pretty tough go.
No he didn't?!?!??? Seriously? Or is that a joke? For offseason teambuilding, Mac had the entire team over to his garage to package jars of his wife's gourmet barbecue sauce for shipping.
Don't ya wonder about that? Like how many people interviewed him. No one said "this guy seems a little odd"?No doubt in my mind he got some serious skeletons in his closet. I guess the whole "he worked for Saban" thing and the false hope that he was an offensive genius drowned out the initial weirdo vibes and the con man suspicions.Don't ya wonder about that? Like how many people interviewed him. No one said "this guy seems a little odd"?
Yeah...undefeated for the first two years with his starting QB and 2 SEC East Championships playing a backup QB for the rest of them, only a year after losing to Georgia Southern. Brutal. How did we make it through that?
Yea, I never did quite understand why Mac was so upset about the whole thing. He should have just laughed it offThe shark dude was the Jimmy Johns guy. But given that it bothered Mac so much, sadgator finds it enjoyable when people continue to speculate about it being him.

You know the McElwain years were a pretty tough go. But if the end result is that when you type “Jim Mc...” into Google the third result that pops up is “Jim McElwain humps shark,” then I have to say it was time well spent.
3rd and Grantham is going to take some getting used to for you guys.
Even recruits and family memebers who have visited again can sense the change. Signing day is gonna be an event.Whatever Mac was, he damn sure wasn’t into team building in this way.
Mullen is injecting an attitude of family, community, and organizational pride that appears unmatched and that rivals anything sadgator has seen in the past 30 years. It is tremendous.
I sure hope so. If we get the guys that appear to be headed our way, it will definitely be a day to celebrate. Especially considering the short time frame Mullen & staff have had to pull this class together.Even recruits and family memebers who have visited again can sense the change. Glad to see Mullen having them take down those joke SEC East Champion signs. That was just another embarrassment associated with Mac. That is crap that should be reserved for teams like Vandy, KY and South Carolina.
Did we get rid of the “First in the SEC” years as well?
We did. I think we have a better claim to those titles than most, given that prior to 1984, the SEC allowed at least one SEC claim a title the year they were on probation. Plus, they did say we could claim the title in 1984, but then rescinded that promise.
