We do not have the requisite structure or mentality at our University or in our athletic program (AD/UAA) to be a competitive football team anymore.
We probably just need to accept this reality and walk with our wallets and they’ll either get desperate and fix it or we will take our rightful place as an academic institution in the SEC that’s competitive once every 10 years like Vanderbilt.
Either way, I’ll be damned if I’m paying championship level booster fees anymore to be a bottom dweller.
This is our real identity, we are not a football school anymore and may never be again.
But hey, there’s always gymnastics in lacrosse.
