2x STA State Champ QB Jake Allen couldn't make all of the throws, like a throw on the option run, or run the ball at all. He was a total statue back in the pocket with a slow, weak, inaccurate throwing arm. He's also never been a leader who could speak up to, lead or inspire his team, so he had to go elsewhere.
Franks was a much better choice to keep.

He's as good as Grier on the field, and 10 times better in the classroom and off the field -- but JMOHO's of course.

Jake Allen ran a 4.9 in HS, and that was before he started having back issues. There are offensive lineman faster than that. So yes for all intents and purposes he was a statue for the college level. Mullen has always used very athletic QB’s, not hard to see Allen didn’t fit. And LMAO@ claiming he’s better than Grier. One of them, Grier, was the National HS player of the year. The other one, Allen, his second best offer was Iowa. You’d think after proving time and time you don’t know shit about football you’d learn to stop posting your dumbass opinions and embarrassing yourself. But here we are.

sadgator really didn’t know much about him, but he seems like a really good kid looking at his social media and stuff. sadgator hopes he has an awesome career and experience at Dartmouth (and hopefully beyond that). Kid clearly loved Florida, and it is a shame he had to go.
Yeah, it was all those top receivers at STA (like Grimes) that made Jake look good,,, never the other way around... Just like Tebow's passing while at UF, it was just his receivers making him look good too... 
Weak arm, can't make all of the throws, especially not the deep throws with accuracy down the field. He's a total stature in the pocket, never moves around to avoid the rush or rolls out to make a play....
