There is too much stupid in many of these posts for me to even begin. Plus the doctors ITT hardly need my support.

I know board certified doctors who are adamantly against the vaccine. I know board certified doctors who are adamantly for the vaccine. The problem is that this has become a political issue more than a medical one and people are extremely leery of the government forcing anything on them. Americans have always been contrarian to forced governmental edicts.
The worst thing anybody did on either side of this issue was to suggest it should be mandated since that turned it into a political issue and the actual facts regarding the vaccine get lost in the crossfire.
My parents, who are in their 70s are vaccinated. They had some side effects, but minimal. Probably a good move for them given their age and susceptibility to negative side effects of Covid. My kids are very healthy and probably don't need the vaccine since we really don't have any way to know long term health risks and the fact that Covid, especially the newest varieties, have very minor health risks to young health people. This is not a one-size-fits-all issue.
That is why this should be an individual issue decided between an informed patient and their doctor. Get the government out of the picture and you will probably see better discussions and choices by all.

I can’t tolerate statins. Some are worse, Simvastatin was extremely problematic for me.
My current doc checks my cholesterol multiple times per year. She doesn’t recommend I take statins.
But I know three people in my personal sphere - one is almost for sure from the booster, he’s been at UVA for nearly 3 months - that are likely vaccine injured. And I don’t know that many people.
The problem is we’ve changed the bar on what’s acceptable. The smallpox vaccine was pulled after 68 potential deaths.
I think people are going to be very shocked when we see the health issues this trash vaccine has caused 10 years down the road not to even count the people its already messed up. I think its going to have long term effects on people's immune system. People should have known something was up when these crooked companies insisted they be immune from lawsuits on it down the road.
What's really funny to me is the folks who trashed the media for making Covid "sound worse than it is" and "trying to scare people"...........are doing the exact same thing with the vaccine.....and with much less evidence in their favor.

I think the issue is not the vaccine, it is the demonization by one political party of anybody who has legitimate concerns or questions about the forced injection of a vaccine which was rushed out for arguably political reasons and with immunity for the drug companies.
I don't think people, by and large, are against modern medicine. People are very suspicious of the government mandating anything. Especially when the side doing the mandating have been yelling "my body my choice" when wanting to terminate human life in their womb but then want to tell you that the government can force you to put something in your body you don't want. It is the double standard that makes people uneasy, not necessarily the medical aspect. However, people will distrust the individuals pushing the medicine if they think it is being pushed for a reason other than (or perhaps along with) a legitimate medical one.
@BSC911 doesn't use Ignore. He just says he does. Like he says he will honor his word and leave after election day, yet is still here.
They are undercounting people like this like crazy and down the road they will be forced to admit a lot of suffering was caused by these trash vaccines.

You completely missed the point of my post. I said that the reluctance of people to trust, not the vaccine, but the forced utilization of the same by the government. I don't think Trump ever mandated people be vaccinated, only wanted to get the medical companies working on a solution when we all thought covid was going to be much worse than it was.
I never said the vaccine was evil, bad, or some sham. I said that forcing it on people will always precipitate concern, especially when it is being used as a political weapon.

I stopped calling them vaccines around a year ago. I call them 'vaccines'. By the CDC's own definition they are simply a treatment.
This is why I wonder if we should call these people evil or not. @Uniformed_ReRe gets the vapors when I use that word in regards to shot cheerleaders, but blindly defending the government trying to coerce people into taking the 'vaccines' if they want to keep their job is indeed evil.

I am the guy who posted, many times, in the other thread about pretty much every medication, including this vaccine, having some bad results for some people. Remember the posts about people dying from aspirin or Tylenol? Trying to get the point through your thick skull that all medication has risk and your posting of individual one-off situations was stupid and pointless. The only question you should be asking is the risk of the vaccine worse than the risk of getting sick without it. You don't ask that question because you don't like the answer.
