Even after the news broke last week that while on his official visit to Ohio State James Robinson was cited for marijuana possession - Florida still planned on taking the Rivals100 wide out as part of their 2017 signing class.

However, we have just been informed that Florida's Administration will not allow the coaching staff to sign him.

Jim McElwain has spent all morning working with the administration in order to convince them to allow Robinson to sign, but to no avail.

Following that rejection the Florida staff has been working with Robinson, as well as his coaches at Lakeland, to find a home for the talented wide out.

Florida had been planning on taking this kid despite the trouble last weekend. Robinson was not going to end up at Ohio State, and from the sounds of things after Robinson informed the staff there he was not going to be a Buckeye, only then did the incident leak to the media.

According to our source, when he was cited Robinson was in the company of several Buckeyes' players. Plus, he of course didn't board a plane with the illegal substance on him.

You can draw your own conclusions as to how the parties involved obtained the substance.
