I just listened to a few of the leaders of some of the other NIL organizations from around college football talk about what they’re doing and the people running ours are in WAY WAY over their heads.
There were several but I’m going to talk about the Tennessee group because they’re expecting to have between $15 and $20 million in NIL benefits to use in 2022 and on the 2023 kids coming in. These guys were organized, legit business people. Some of the things they stated they were doing were having prominent alumni like Manning and Witton helping to raise funds and benefits. They have Heath Schuler using his connections to raise funds and benefits. They are offering exclusive collectables, apparel, and functions only members can get. They have auto dealerships, music recording companies, doctors, lawyers, etc… that all offer services for NIL deals.
Meanwhile we have Sillk and Eddie doing podcasts nobody wants to listen to.
Really hope we can get some legit leadership steering that ship really soon.
