This is SO damn funny. If you have not watched the comments from Buzz Williams, you need to do so. Talk about an egocentric, tunnel vision “whaaaaa” moment…

Keep in mind, this is a post-game NIT game conference. It would have been so funny if they had lost that first game. What would he have done if they had?

sadgator would love to see Florida get another shot to beat them.

I find it incredibly disrespectful to Alcorn State for this to be his opening remarks. Im not opposed to him airing his grievances, but do it at the tail end.

This would be like refusing to shake an opposing coach's hand in the Music City Bowl after a win untill you aired grievances in the post-game press conference about the calls made by refs in the regular season.

Also true. If you were looking to make the NIT interesting, this certainly does it to a point. sadgator can’t wait to see those guys lose. The more sadgator experiences A&M as a program, the more he sees why they’ve never won anything of consequence. They are really a bunch of self-centered soft wussies.

Only thing I can remember of note of Texas A&M in the entire time of them being in the SEC is the amount of attention Johnny Manziel received.

Besides that, they are an after-thought whose women's programs seems to be more reknown. The last men's championship in anything was in 2017 for indoor track and field. Besides track and field they only have 1 more national championship.....golf....in 2009.

My only regret if VCU beats Texas A&M is that it would mean that the aggies made it past Oregon. I have more confidence in VCU than Oregon to beat Texas A&M.

I don't like Jimbo, and whatever the hell happened this past recruiting cycle, and I've never liked Buzz....so I am on board with you..

First off, I don't GaS about atm at any level.
However,,,,,,

IF UF had won 12 SEC Games making it to the SEC-C final and finishing with 24 wins, how would UF fans have taken it, not getting an invite to the Dance???

I'm not a fan of A&M, but It would be nice if somebody could explain why they didn't get selected by the NCAA committee, I thought they were a lock after they beat Auburn. some of the undertones from his statement indicate he feels there is a bias with at least some of the members of the committee

I feel the same way about the SEC Men's Big 3 game officials, that he feels about the selection committee. Suckage Galore imo....
 
When has college sports ever been fair? Suck it up buttercup…if A&M wanted to be in the tourney so bad, they shouldn’t have lost 8 games in a row in January and Feb.

Again, Buzz made this statement at an NIT post-game press conference…

If you’re that bothered, write a fvcking letter to the NCAA…it amuses sadgator when he actually cries about it…

it would be cool if we could have video of entire team crying in the locker room…

they are gonna need a lot of ice cream to make those kids happy again if the lose in the crappy NIT that they are well-above being in…

There is a time and place to go to bat for your players and program regarding the big dance but a post game press conference in the NIT is not it. He should have called a separate press conference to do that or released a statement. Reading a statement like that at a post game conference is really disrespectful to the other team as many have pointed out.

However, when we elevate wins on a court or field over personal responsibility and integrity, this is inevitably what happens. The amount of money at stake nowadays brings this type of conduct out and it will only get worse. Really unfortunate and a really bad look for aTm.

Well, with the way the NCAA tournament has gone for the SEC, Williams' and Calipieri's idea that more SEC teams should have gotten in seems ridiculous.
