UF lost to what many consider the best team in college football history, the 1995 undefeated and #1 ranked cornshuckers. That was UF's first shot at a NC vs the #1 ranked team. They kept it close through the 1st half. Then WR/KR J.Green (you remember him don't you) 
went down with a dislocated hip on the opening kickoff of the 2nd half.
The Gator D would hold them for 2 downs, then Tommy 'freakin' Frazier would get yet another 1st down while the Gator attempted to strip the ball instead of just taking him down. But hey, they learned from those mistakes and they won their next 3 NC games against #1 ranked teams, and 2 of the 3 #1 teams had that years Heisman QB.
BTW, how many NC's have your criminoles won vs a #1 ranked teams (and any with Heisman QB's), and were any of them by double digits? (UF 52 - 20 FSUcks)
