It seems like we are in a cycle of warmer November and Decembers than previously in a couple of decades for sure. But we also seem to have cooler January, Feb, March and Aprils too. It seems to balance out, we just don't have as many days below freezing in North Florida as we did growing up.Meh. Cold? So we’ve never had January weather…in January?
Seeing this living in the midwest laat 8-10 years. It seems like we are in a cycle of warmer November and Decembers than previously in a couple of decades for sure. Just to state something here...and maybe you both know a bunch about this. However when you understand the difference in our weather when we are in a La Nina, or El Nino some of these patterns make more sense!!It seems like we are in a cycle of warmer November and Decembers than previously in a couple of decades for sure. Yea we got a decent dump overnight Sunday and throughout Monday.

Much to do about nothing............but @Capt Ron 1 , did you see that motor cowling? 😂
Many videos are played from the wrong side online. I had to do a double take! LOLMuch to do about nothing............but @Capt Ron 1 , did you see that motor cowling? 😂
Somebody has a sense of humor? ahamay ? Or is that a reverse image trick played by the camera on YAMAHA? I don't think I've ever seen that in photography, unless recorded in a mirror?
Negative 5 degrees here in Indiana this morning. That is without the wind chill.
I'm in SC but I'm from Florida. With all this cold I thought about heading down to Florida to get out of this mess. Looks like I will have to head to the Keys if I want to get warm. This global warming is freezing me to death here in NW Florida!
One of my cousins went on a chartered fishing trip a couple of weeks ago out of Key West to the Dry Tortugas. He said he was miserable, froze his ass off. 😂I'm in SC but I'm from Florida. We rarely get snow in north Florida, but I've seen it happen a few times. It's kind of cool. I remember about 30 years ago watching idiots driving up and down steep hills and sliding backwards and causing all kinds of insurance claims. 😂
I believe it was 1972 when my ship was in the yards in Boston. There was no snow on the ground in Boston. I flew home to Pensacola and there was 4-6 inches of snow on the ground. I don't think the weather guessers predicted this.We rarely get snow in north Florida, but I've seen it happen a few times. It's kind of cool. I have lived in FWB for 6 decades, and for the first time we have snow accumulation forecasted. We typically MAY see flurries for veey short period s of time every 7-10 years...but have never seen accumulation in the forecast! One of my cousins went on a chartered fishing trip a couple of weeks ago out of Key West to the Dry Tortugas. It actually snowed pretty good in Jacksonville and Lake City in 1989 right before Christmas. The roads were a nightmare where there were steep hills. It was a circus, nobody here knows how to drive on ice and snow. 😂 We had about 2 inches of ground cover in Lake City. I remember the date and year because I left Jacksonville around midnight and there was not one other single vehicle on the interstate than myself. The FHWP had closed it behind me just seconds after I got on the road.I have lived in FWB for 6 decades, and for the first time we have snow accumulation forecasted.
