It will be the coldestnightof the season in Florida. Temperatures will range from the mid-20s in the red outlined areas to even a cool 60 degrees in the Keys. Brrrr
Actually there are a bunch of people I know on FB bitching about it being cold. I'm so sick of hot AF weather I'm happy to see it.
I was there. 14-10 over Iowa, Chuck Long was their QB I think. Went to every game as kid, my Dad always got rickets from vendors. The wildest thing I ever saw at one of those games was the Ohio st/Clemson game when Woody Hayes punched rhe Clemson LB at end of the game. Clemson won 17-15 and Arr Schlister so? was the buckeye qb who had a major gambling problem. That wasn’t his only int in that game. (wink wink) When Woody assaulted him I asked my Dad why he did that (I was 10) and his response was “I don’t really know son” as he was at a loss for words. I’ve seen some crazy sports moments in person and that one is right at the top. Were any of you at the 1983 Gator Bowl game in Jax vs Iowa? It was one of the coldest nights I ever sat in. I remember someone telling me a raincoat does help with wind resistance so I wore one under my coat along with a snow cap, and a pair of thermals. The Iowa fans laughed at us all night. Luckily we didn't have to walk far after the game.
1983 was arguably one of the coldest weather's I've felt in Jax. In May of 1984, I walk outside of the house on my way to school and it felt like it about 40 something degrees. I immediately went back inside to grab a jacket.I was there. 14-10 over Iowa, Chuck Long was their QB I think. Went to every game as kid, my Dad always got rickets from vendors.
