I think the point is prediction after dire prediction keep failing to materialize. From Al Gore to AOC to Greta, these doomsday warnings keep failing.
We had a 17 year period with zero warming and just recently another 9 year pause.
It’s getting harder and harder to keep the faith that we should all be bicycling to work and eating bugs to save the planet.
And we focus all of our “efforts” on what we do but when China and India and Russia combined produce 3x the Co2 we do and they give zero effs about mandating their emissions what does that say?
