Texas SC overrules activist judge and says legislators can be placed into custody for refusing to do their job.

I remember hearing the stories of those fighting actual racism being hauled away to jail for breaking Democrat state Jim Crow laws. MLK sat in prison for his public peaceful disobedience and refused to leave early when given the opportunities. It was called sacrifice and now those proclaiming to sacrifice for their constituents, being paid while being disobedient and asking for money at the same time are fighting prison time. What a bunch of clowns.

Not sure exactly what that means but before the Judge intervened I think it was said they could be placed in custody.
This means the Texas SC ruled that a lower court judge cannot block the Governor's ability to enforce the law.

It means the dems who left the state to block the formation of a voting quorum are subject to arrest upon return to the state.

I think it's a bad idea to make martyrs of them though...if you frog march them the MSM is going to make Abbott pay dearly. On the other hand if you don't this is now going to be the strategy anytime the left doesn't get its way (because if the conservatives did it they wouldn't be "celebrated as brave").

I disagree. I've got a butane torch and sack of feathers, lead me to the pot of tar. :p

Reactions: Dr. Curmudgeon
Now if we can only get the SC to overrule the communist lina hidalgo and her attempt to overthrow the governors mask mandate restriction.
