A state representative from the Hill Country in Central Texas wants to give Texans the option to opt-out of the United States.

Was just talking to a friend about this, said when the dem states talk secession, it's for show.

I don’t know how soon something like this will/could happen. But the more and more the coastal states trend towards Marxism the more likely states like Texas will pull out. You’ll know this is more serious and likely when multiple states agree to break together. This could happen on the west coast as well but not nearly as likely as states like Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, etc that have geographical proximity and shared cultural values. Again, we’re not there yet but a Brexit type situation with any other state(s) joining Texas even voting on something like this would be a very serious thing. Probably not in our lifetimes but our kids and grandkids could see this happen.

Those that scoff at these things have a serious arrogance in their view of history. We as a people are not better than those that have come before us, we’re just as susceptible at repeating mistakes.

I think that depends if a state or states are allowed to secede peacefully. There’s a chance that could happen. Small chance but still a chance.

IMO it would NOT be a mistake...I have favored a peaceful dissolution for more than a decade. My loyalty is to the Constitution as written and under original intent. My only beef was with the idea that people could be property.

If either one of these two men wants to truly be the leader of United States, they have to come together and decide on a way to resolve this that will satisfy the vast majority of Americans. The right to be president comes from the consent of the governed. Clearly The consent of the governed is not being given by at least half if not more than this nation. There’s way too much smoking gun issues with this election. If Joe loves America and he wants to actually be president of in America that still exist, you should go to Trump and say let’s redo or find a way to redo the selection At least make an effort.
