Neither Ford Jr or Manchin are against green energy. Not even close. But what they are saying is that green energy is not viable YET, to the masses, and in the meantime we should not just cut off fossil fuel production when that is what we have at the moment. Here's a common sense question. Did it make sense for Biden to turn off our own oil producing spigots on day one, where we were not reliant on foreign oil, and then 10 months later start begging OPEC and Russia to produce more oil. Is the planet cleaner if they produce it instead of us. I do not get the logic. Can you explain this to me?

You also have to consider that Manchin and Ford Jr come from very red states, so their base is different. Jon Tester also thinks the Keystone pipeline should remain. Your state matters.
I'm not opposed to building the Keystone pipeline. I'm also not opposed to building/developing green energy. We should be able to do both.

LOL Kalim, Ford Jr has no base. He's been out of Congress for 14 years. He lives in the first or second bluest state in the country--New York. He's looking at it from a practical common sense point of view, not to win reelection in a state he don't even live in.
