I wouldn't be surprised at all should LSU fire Kelly this season. In Baton Rouge, they do not tolerate the kind of garbage we're witnessing under Stricklin.

One of the greatest falls of internet personalties is that of sadgator. Once a witty fan, talking in first person, now making up names that don’t make sense like a third grader in a name calling contest. Hopefully you can regain your stride one day sad.

You do know why our fans call him Sunbelt Billy, right?

Sad has graduated to Al Bundy status - Former (though short lived) all time great who now can't get it up and can't even yell at the neighbor kids from his porch, hand in pants on the couch

They are in the same boat we are, super QB recruit committed, have to decide if its worth the risk. We have chose to watch DJ go 7-5 the next two years over a change. Will they do the same?

I am hoping we get a few key pieces and Lagway is good enough to get us in contention next year despite Napiers mess. It may just be a dream though.

Talking about Kelly he seems to use the word "they" quite a bit when talking about the bad stuff but uses the word "we" a lot when talking about the good stuff with LSU.

DJ is 3-0 when starting and finishing, not that I'm defending the Sling Blade.

Lagway’s not a stud qb recruit. He’s a certified true freshman SEC baller. He might be the best thing the Gator program has stumbled on since trask and maybe better than that. We’ve seen we have the athletes to hang with just about everyone in the SEC. And then Is there any qb in the league you’d trade Lagway for? Not me.

Somebody apparently didn’t get the joke.

sadgator would explain it to you, but if you have to explain it, it didn’t work…

sadgator will try to do better in the future.

There’s not one in the country I’d trade him for.

Brian Kelly gets this year's Muschamp award...they run 90 plays to Florida's 45(?), they out rush us & win time of possession 42-18, but still lose the game.

A huge factor in time of possession, plays run, etc… is the fact that the Gators attack downfield like crazy with Lagway. And once the defense is scrambling to cover the downfield stuff, the runs start going for 10+ yards a pop.

We averaged 9 yards a completion and 7 yards a run, compared to 6 and 3 for LSU.

I guess I’d like to see a little more control of the game, but I’ll take the touchdowns when they’re there, whether it takes 10 plays and 7 minutes or 1 play and 7 seconds.

Lagway completed 7 passes against UK for 260 yards. Stoops said he’d never seen anything like it.

I think college defenses have a really hard time covering downfield. Almost everyone puts everyone at the line and tries to control the 10 yards around the ball. They’re almost helpless when you have a qb that WANTS to go downfield and can do it.

It's weird, Lagway is actually more accurate with the longer balls vs shorter throws. He overthrows the short stuff frequently, but can drop in a 40 yarder with ease.
