Something that I've bitched about for several years now has finally happened. The greedy money grubbers that have squeezed the turnips until they squealed (and started leaving) have finally been put in their place. By reality, not out of any smarts on their part, nor by the charity of their good hearts. But at least it's finally happened. Now that they can no longer fill the stadium for games, they've finally gotten the 'dose of reality' that they've so badly needed.... 
"We're selling tickets for the spring game for zero dollars and zero cents,'' he told the crowd of approximately 500 (in Jax). "Bring a neighbor who has never been there before. I'm going to be there going as hard as I can." -- Dan
This is really a boon for the loyal Gator working stiffs with their never ending bills while raising their kids. They could never afford to pay for regular season tickets for their whole family, IF they could even find the tickets. Those guys and their families (future Gator kids) can once again come to the SWAMP to see their team, at least once a year anyway.... And it's bout-time! Just walk up, find seats wherever, and enjoy the day.

Mullen recalled Monday how some (Bulldog) fans were confused. They thought you came out when the team started to win. He told them it was the opposite. The team would start to win when fans came out and showed they cared. (that was in Stark-Vegas coach, not in Hogtown)
"IMO, It's more likely that when the Admin, the UAA, the AD, the coaches, and especially the 'entitled athletes' begin to really care about the long time loyal Gator fans, THEN things will have a chance to get better for everyone. Making the Spring game free, while still poking your finger in the loyal Gator fans collective eyes, is a mistake imo.
Careful Dan, the 'average people' Gator fans are really the one's that built this program (win or lose) to begin with, back when there were still stumps in and around the football field, and the SWAMP really was a swamp. They have, in the more recent past, been getting the chitty end of the stick from those Scotch drinkers that now dwell in air-conditioned Sky Boxes with beautiful clean and uncrowded restrooms, not to mention the curb service snacks. All that, to avoid having to rub shoulders with the filthy unwashed masses. The Liberal, PC, Johnny Come Lately Elitist, are the real problem, not the average Gator fans of old that have always been there, win or lose.. A pack of Limousine Liberals Elitists are now gonna try to tell the long time Gator fans how it is?

MR TWO BITS did not come from the Sky Boxes, and that's why the long time Gator fans loved him. He was one of OURS, not one of yours.... Nobody was paying him Millions YEARLY to do what he was doing.
Mr. Two Bits was a real Gator fan. You coach, are just the latest in a long line of over-paid employees, and you are being over-paid with the over-priced tickets that the Gator fans buy to be in the SWAMP.
