Might be career ending or out at least one year will know more tomorrow. Aparently blood supply was cut off when knee was dislocated. Had to have emergency surgery at Tampa General to hopefully save his leg. Hope he can walk again. As a UCF alum my heart is broken. My thoughts and prayers are with Milton and his family. Sickening to watch.

That is really terrible for the kid. Nothing but respect for him and the UCF program. I hope he can recover and gets a chance to play again.

Yeah, I was surprised when I heard Tampa General as St. Joe’s is 1/4 mile away. When I heard TGH I knew it was serious. I had a Spinal Surgery there in 2017 and you hear the helicopters landing at all times as it’s a Level 1 trauma center.

I thought it was the leg but, they say the knee so, I’m thinking Teddy Bridgewater type of injury. Surgery saved his leg and let him after almost 2 years of intense rehabilitation, to play again.

Update: Just read on Twitter that it was an emergency surgery to restore blood flow of a dislocated knee. This NFL Dr. said, and this is scary, “there is a good chance to save his leg” and also that it was similar to one The Bears Zach Miller had and if so, Milton’s playing days may be over.

When you’re talking saving a leg, that is prayers time. Just said one for Milton and his family.

Surgery was successful glad he went to Tampa General as it is rated a top notch hospital. They saved his leg but he has a long way to go. I am sure all of his ligaments have been torn in the knee and will need another surgery to fix them as well. He might not ever play football again. He is not playing next season but could redshirt next year and play in 2020.
