So we getting a NY6 bowl. Yeah baby.

If UGA wins out and beats LSU, the Dawgs and LSU are both in the CFP. The iron bowl looks much different now at Auburn with no Tua. Gators may be heading to New Orleans.

I would take the 1 loss conference champs but LSU would have a lot better resume than Bama would have had with 1 loss.

All the "what it's" what if Texas A&M wrecked both teams to finish out the season and Auburn beat Bama.

Even better what if Georgia Tech beat UGA and Arkansas beat LSU.

To add to that Michigan beat Ohio State. TCU beat Oklahoma. South Carolina beat Clemson. Texas beat...no make that Kansas beat Baylor.

Fvck it. I hope I'm right and the college football world crashes the next two weeks leaving everyone running in circles.

If we finish 10-2, we will be the 4th most attractive SEC team?

1 - to the playoff - SEC Champ game winner - LSU or UGA
2 - to the Sugar Bowl - SEC champ game loser - UGA or LSU - or one loss Bama?
3 - to a NY6 bowl as an at large - one loss Bama or SEC Champ game loser?
4 - to a non NY6 bowl - Gators

Unless, somehow SEC gets two teams in playoff......one loss LSU and a one loss UGA or one loss Bama.....in which case the non playoff team goes to Sugar and Gators go to NY6 as an at large.
If uga losses to lsu they have 2 losses and one is to an unranked team with a losing record and not bowl bound. That loss will count for something just as quality wins do.

Yeah, we'd be sexier option then. Especially against say a ND who has already played UGa.

Memphis...

^ LOL ^ :D

Cotton Bowl has the Group of 5 highest ranked (appears to be Memphis) in a contract.
They deserve at least one entry into a NY-6 bowl, and the Cotton lost the toss... ;)
9-1 Memphis beat Ole Miss, only lost to Temple, projected to be the AAC-C.

That dogs response also looks like Ms. Sad's response when Sad steps out of the shower and shakes it at her.... :D:D:D

Its likely we could make either the Orange Bowl if LSU lost or the Cotton Bowl if they win.

Starting to think LSU might go over a 1 loss PAC 12 Champ due to the comitteee. Wouldn't do it myself however but they would have a lot better argument to go than Bama would have had by resume.

Still a few games away, through out CFB, from having a good idea. Beat the Noles and hopefully we play someone new....oh year UGA lose to Auburn too. Not sure Auburn has enough juice. UGA is playing their best football this year. We'll see though.

You can basically etch a 2nd loss in stone for uga. They aren’t beating LSU.
Not so fast brother. Dawgs match up well against LSU. Current FPI predictor is LSU 53% UGA 47%.
Regardless, LSU is most likely in the CFP even if they don't win the SECCG with their wins this year. No one has better wins.

Dawgs beat Auburn last weekend.

Georgia will have priority over us in bowls if they lose but we may still get Cotton Bowl if there is no limit on teams which I don't think there is. My guess is GA would get the Orange Bowl in that scenario.

Kinda need TAMU to step up if we want a NY6. An LSU win over UGa would then make them a 3 loss team, and even the head to head wouldn't be enough to over come that. Not holding out a lot of hope though, the Aggies have repeatedly shown they are capable of losing to good teams this year.

They might be, although I’m not sure how it works. We’ll have the same record as them and our losses will be better than theres, and we’ll prob be ranked higher, esp if LSU beats them down

Your loss looks really bad now though... and I’m not sure you do match up that well. Their dL is a strength and will have more success shutting down your run game than we did for sure. And I’m not sure anyone can affect burrow. Maybe Clemson or Ohio st could beat them, but I can’t see you winning that game. They’d have to play their worst game if the season by far

They will have one more win, and we will have both lost to LSU. They also have the best win. Us.

You're the first person that has mentioned LSU defense and strength in the same sentence.
We tend to make offenses play their worst games of the year.

Oh like South Carolina? We almost put 20+ on you and I'll give you this LSU'S defense gives up lots of points. Getting a little cocky on stopping them IMO.

Yep Georgia with 3 losses or Penn State beating OSU would change things.

My guess is we get Memphis in Cotton Bowl at the least or a weak 2nd place ACC team in the Orange possibly. Neither matchup will be great for the fans.

Very solid for getting to 11 wins though.

Their defensive line is pretty good. If usce can shut your running game down, LSU can do it. And their offense makes defenses look their worst too.

I would hate it if all our NFL guys skipped the game and we somehow lost to a Memphis. That is the trend now for non playoff teams and the NFL bound players

Are you kidding me? You would LOVE it. You are PRAYING for it to happen.

I'm not getting cocky at all. I'm just saying we match up well and have a chance.
Yeah... like South Carolina. They never crossed into our redzone until overtime. We gave up 10 points in regulation to their offense. Defense isn't our problem.

SC didn't exactly shut down our offense. We had almost 300 yards passing and around 175 yards rushing. UGA stopped UGA that day.

I didn’t see most of the game, but I think they certainly showed the blueprint on how to beat you guys. Make the run game less effective and the offense is less comfortable having to throw it all over the field. The biggest stat of that game would be the TO’s, and while some of that is certainly self inflicted, they played just good enough on defense to force you into those situations and were able to capitalize. They really aren’t going to be able to just roll the ball out there and line up and play against you guys, but they did just enough to keep you off balance. Obviously uga didn’t play their best game of the season, but they weren’t going to be able to shut you guys down on pure physical talent alone. So the offensive numbers don’t look too bad, but I think their game plan was to take you guys away from what you like to do and hope for a few breaks.

My general predictions now but I am sure something crazy will happen somewhere.

Peach and Fiesta playoff teams: LSU, Clemson, OSU and Oklahoma
Sugar: Bama v. Baylor
Orange: VA/VT v. Georgia
Rose: Utah v. Penn State
Cotton: UF v. Memphis/Cincy

If GA surprised LSU: I think committee takes LSU even though I think the conference winner should go in that scenario.

UGA absolutely has the D-talent and scheme to beat LSU imo. LSU's offense is playing at such a high level I'm not sure they can be slowed down, but UGA running the ball on O and with Smart they are a good matchup, even if they haven't played as well through the year.

I don't like Georgia in that game, but I don't dislike them either.

GA travels well when not up for a championship. We don't many times. Zero chance we go higher pick to a bowl than them if 2nd loss is to LSU.

UF lost to #1 LSU and #4 UGly, both in away games.

UGly would have lost to #1 LSU, and to NR SCa @ home.

Speculation: o_O

IF UF wins out and UGly loses to LSU and in their bowl game, UF would likely be ranked ahead of UGly again in the Final Polls...
