On Sunday, five-star Demetris Robertson (remember roughly two years ago when Florida was one of his first offers and he was high on the Gators) will finally pull the trigger and sign on Sunday.
He was holding out hoping to get a qualifying test score to get into Stanford, but that apparently didn't happen.
I gave him props for doing all he could to try to get into such a prestigious school. I am going to take some of that back now that he is holding his announcement ceremony at the College Football HOF. That seems a bit over the top to me.
On a side note, here is to the Stanford staff who does an incredible job getting it done year after year with the restrictions they have placed on them by admissions.
Can you imagine any other Power Five Conference football team not taking a fully qualified five-star because he doesn't meet the academic standards of your school?
