You have the same kind of friends as I had back then. 3 of whom wake up every morning in pain for the past 10 years while I lost one friend to alcohol poisoning back in 2000 at the age of 30.

Of course, those guys waking up in pain were popping pain killers after our football games in high school. To this day they regret every second of it.

30 is really young. The friend I had that died most recently from liver failure somehow made it to his 50s despite never taking days off hardly and drinking a lot of liquor since his 20s.

Reddit members spoke of Powell posting bizarre comments on Instagram. Now there's some speculation about suicide and possibly suffering from CTE.

Guess we won't know the actual cause of death while his family sorts all this out.
