4 - 8 A few tough ones to pick in there. I am sticking with my original 5 losses and adding Tenn and Vandy. Already wrong about beating KY.

Tenn is trash right now also but the crowd noise will probably be enough for them to get a close win. Vandy just looks better than us right now despite any talent level and FSU will probably find a little offense by that game and they have better talent and home field advantage.

I've got to eat some crow here because I thought we were better than what I saw Saturday night. We are so weak up front on both sides of the ball. It's going to be a long season.

You may be right. I'm interested to see how the team reacts to an embarrassing performance and loss. Are our trench guys as bad as they played against KY? If so we may only beat Idaho. What about Colorado St.? They lost to 2 pretty good teams, Hawaii & Colorado, before beating Arkansas Sat. night. They are averaging 369 passing yards per game, but only 86 rushing yard per game. Their defense has given up an average of 550 yards per game, getting torched both on the ground and in the air. Their QB is a grad transfer and has been really good, Mike Bobo is their coach and they've been to 5 straight bowls. This will not be an easy win and if we lose that one, the season will be totally in the tank.

Yep I watched some of their first 2 games and Colorado State can air it out if that QB has a little time to throw. Their defense is pretty poor but if we aren't getting some sacks and interceptions they could hang with us probably.

Now do Chip Kelly and Scott Frost.

IMOHO, it still depends on how the coaches finally sift out their playing roster.
And I'm still waiting until Oct. 1st before worrying much about it.
(this is still a modified 'talking-season' until then)

I’ll go with 5-7 fevered-brain. 3* Dan beats FSU

Lizzerds need to work in Trask and that 5* kid. Franks ain’t gunna cut it. The front 7 will have to deal with some big Olines and they got pushed pretty good by KantUck.

You care to bet this team can finish better than 6-6 regular season?

Deflection duly noted.

BTW, Mullen has a better recruiting class than both of them too.

Ready to admit that you blew it when you said Frost or Kelly would have been a better hire than Mullen?

One of the most idiotic posts you have had here. This is UF and I have already went over a bunch of times how not getting a highly ranked 2nd class at these top southern football schools just doesn't happen unless you were a coach named Mac.

So you still think the two coaches who are 0-3 on the year and who are recruiting worse than Mullen would have both been better hires? Really? LOL

Heels dug in. Gonna be fun watching this play out.

I thought we would stub a toe against Kentucky or Tennessee but not both. Still think we beat someone we shouldn’t . That being said we really need David Reese, Cc Jefferson, and need to play someone other than Scarlett. I thought we were going to be a running team? Where is the read option? He knows it will be even worse with Franks hurt imho.

Well.

If losing to Kentucky wasn't enough of a sign that the end times have begun....

I had to do a triple to take on this post because I completely agree with it.

Also, is anyone surprised that Fever has us losing 5 straight games and 7 of 9?

We're going 4-8? Lol okay, I mean....I guess it's possible man, but coming from you, it sure sounds like something you have wet dreams about.

Sure don't see you guys losing to the Noles this year.

That was the funniest part of his 'predictions'. FSU is 1-1 and could easily have lost to Samford, but Florida still has no chance. I still think Fever is a Georgia fan and I don't think Bucanole has ever attended a football game, much less heard a wordy-dirty in the stands.

We have a history of losing to the Noles when they are struggling also. Their talent advantage on defense just takes over the game against our crappy offenses many times in those situations.

I see wins against South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida State and Colorado State, Missouri , Vanderbilt and possibly Missisippi State. South Carolina and Missisippi State being real tossups, but I am a biased Gator fan so I will lean to the good guys.

I see losses against Georgia and LSU. I have said it will take Mullen 2 to 3 years to get this mess cleaned up. Our lines have no physicality at all. Our strength and conditioning was MAC level before Mullen showed up. By MAC I mean both the conference and big toothed idiot.

Muschamp was a horrendous head coach, but he handed MacElwain an elite defense, which he rode to two straight SEC East championships. That man set us back years with his lackluster recruiting, development and running off players like Will Grier. There was an article detailing how arrogant and smug McElwain was at CSU.

Two to three years, then we will be back to where we should be imo.

That’s crazy. Gators will win the Tennessee, LSU and Missouri games.

I honestly don't have a clue and I don't think anyone else does, either. We'll have a better feel for this team after the next 2 games.

Georgia is gonna be a tough one. But they have been known to lay an egg every once in a while. They might not be as tough as everybody thinks, and may get caught napping.

South Carolina fans hoped for the same. But deep down you really don't believe that. Pretty sure Kirby will have the team laser-focused to the task at hand.

Ogre being LSU's coach always gives you a chance, even with them having more talent.

I think the problem this year is teams like LSU and Georgia will be able to run on us easily. This defense has dropped off a lot from 2015 and even 2016. A parting gift from Mac after winning just because of the defense he inherited that first season.

Haha you are like an aubarn fan in reverse: They always think all their players will improve from one season to the next, and believe their opponents will all stay the same, or regress.

You think everyone will improve, get magical breaks, and Florida will go backwards.

Pride goeth before the narrative...

So care to bet if Miss State runs the ball down our throats. 2 week ban on posting on this forum? I picked them because they are the first team coming up with a good rushing attack.

You're making my case for me. You can clearly see how Miss State, LSU and Georgia will do well against your defense, but you never consider that your offense, especially the passing game, will likely improve. Hell the defense will likely improve.

You can clearly see how every team can beat Florida, but struggle to see how Florida will beat anyone.

Heels dug in...gonna be fun watching it play out.

Not true - I can clearly see us beating Idaho and Colorado State and picturing how it will happen. Even possibly Tenn but I think home field may get them the win there.
