The Clarion-Ledger (formerly the Jackson (MS) Clarion-Ledger is reporting that Scott Stricklin, current A.D. at Mississippi State and the 2015-2015 A.D. of the Year as determined by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics has been offered (for the second time) the A.D.'s job at Florida, replacing Jeremy Foley.

According to the article Stricklin turned down the job earlier this month, but UF has returned with a better offer.

No word on an acceptance or rejection of this alleged latest offer.

I believe Stricklin may have been the person who hired Dan Mullen as MSU's football coach, but I don't know that.

FWIW.
