This (Elon's claim the FBI paid Twitter to influence the election) specifically references the Laptop story, the banning of the NY Post. The FBI had the laptop for at least a YEAR prior to the story running and the censoring of the Post article (and their account). They knew the truth, but still asked Twitter to act on their behalf to remove content that was harmful to the Dem candidate. Then they compensated them for costs related to taking this action.
