If I may ask a question of those in the know, have these conversations come up at UF at all? I saw this article this morning and also saw Drew Weatherford (FSU) was involved…is this the future, and if so, are we considering this too?
There’s probably a paywall, but honestly there’s not much more to know except these are not equity or debt investments but rather capital to allow colleges to take advantage of IP and brand. (Not sure how they get paid back?).
