Throw in a bowl win and I'll take it.

We could go 11-1 and lose to UGA and I'd be miserable. I'd rather be 1-11 with the one win being over them. My hate for that team is unhealthy.

I think you'll pound Mizzou, they've looked terrible this year. I think you lose for sure to LSU. I'll go with a split of the other 2, losing to Ole Miss & upsetting Jawja.

If we are in the game in the 4th quarter with the #3 team in cfb that has 3 first round picks in next year's NFL draft I will consider Saturday a success

I'm going with 1-3, but I would be on cloud 9 if we go 2-2 or better. We aren't beating LSU in Death Valley at night. Not with this team.
Fwiw, I believe LSU's daytime record at Tiger Stadium is equal to or better than their night record. Now that may be because the TV execs always give them night games when they play highly ranked opponents which means they have a better chance of losing those games.
I've always felt that LSU has an unfair advantage because they get their big games at night. Seems like every time Florida and LSU play when they're both good it's 3:30 kickoff if in Gainesville and 8pm if it's Baton Rouge.
Any SEC stadium can be a snake pit at night. Remember Auburn in 2006 or Miss State in 2009?

Yeah I was trying not to be a homer and said 1-3. I guess I was still suffering from a case of the muschamps. But I've stepped into the light now and the world seems like a better brighter place today.

I legitimately thought 2-2.

After today's events? 3-1 seems legitimate...and maybe it's the euphoria and whiskey...but if we keep improving and find a way to limit Fournette...well...damn...

We just can't have a let down against Mizzou.

Remember. We get a BYE between LSU and UGA.

3-1 is doable...I was opposite of this hoping for 2-2...but 3-1 certainly can happen. This team has me juiced right now.

I had Florida going 3-1. I thought if the Gators could just get an early lead over #3 Ole Miss than the defense could just hold them off for a close win. Well, it turned out that Florida's defense would have a magnificent performance. What an outstanding goal-line stand after that time-consuming 19-play drive to open the 3rd quarter by Mississippi - Jarrad Davis had the tackle of the season on their running back. Meanwhile, Florida's offense and Will Grier took care of the ball and never committed a turnover, took advantage of turnovers forced by the defense and essentially scored all of the necessary points for a win in the 1st half for a 25-0 lead.

However, the numerous failed 2-pt conversions still made the game interesting: Could Ole Miss somehow score 3 TD's and also make three 2-pt conversions to cut UF's lead to 24-25 was running in my mind. But after that goal line stand and Freeze choosing to go for a FG made me less anxious. But, I still thought that the UF offense needed to score a few more points to really put the game away. With a lot of assistance from the defense (Hargrave's int return and CeCe Jefferson's fumble return to the goal line), Florida got to pad some more points to their final lead, 38-10.

Getting a win over an SEC-W team is huge when on the same day Georgia gets stomped by Alabama - as they say in Tennis, Advantage UF. Beating both Missouri and Georgia should almost guarantee the SEC-E title for Florida.

Go Gators!

If we beat LSU, just saying...that'll be incredible. Not only because beating LSU at home is damn near impossible, but also because it's an act of God for us to beat our western opponents in general. We already beat one team that has been a bane.

We matched up very well with Ole Miss. Pocket passing QBs with an average run game.

Sadly, the later part of that does not describe Uga. Can we stop a team with an excellent ground game and decent passing game? I know Lambert struggled mightily against Bama and has put up ungodly numbers against bad teams, but that game was a downpour and they can still be dangerous throwing.

I fairness, I considered voting for 1-3. But I talked myself into 2-2.

Georgia game will decide if we will win the east, even if we lose to Mizzou and LSU, because we will win the rest imo.

We need to beat UGA and own the tie breaker.

There isnt one game left on our schedule that I feel like is a for sure L. Not saying we will win every game, but the is a very good possibility that we can win out. UGA to me will be the toughest one, only because it is a rivalry game . I think we go into LSU and handle them.

i just changed from 1-3 to 3-1. I think we beat Missouri and UGA after watching the first 5 games for all teams. Florida is betting better and UGA is UGA. As for Mizzou, its payback time

If we can slow down Chubb you have a great chance to beat UGA. UGAs QBs aren't very good and they only have 1 receiver threat in Malcolm Mitchell. UGAs Weakness on defense is their DB play.

The defensive game plan will be the same for LSU and UGA run man on the WR load the box and make the qb try to beat you.. I know LSU QB cant beat us. UGA QB gives them a better chance but I don't see him doing much against us either

I still don't want to get overly excited, this is only the second game this season that we have played lights out and the first against a team with a pulse. We are going to at least go 2-2, but the possibility of us going 4-0 is extremely possible and 3-1 is looking more likely. Lets see how we do on the road the next two games.

Well now. We are 2-0 with two games left.

3-1 is a minimum expectation.

I was wrong on Mizzou, but still think you drop one to LSU then rebound with a win over UGA. I might have given you guys the edge had the game been in the Swamp. Either way, congrats on the win tonight, MJ.
