When I was a kid, Cassius Clay was one of my idols. He later became Muhammad Ali. I got to meet him once in 1990. He was already severely impaired by Parkinson's then, but found a way to be incredibly gracious to me, when he really didn't have to. He was the Greatest of All Time, and the majority of his life would belong to the world, but there was part of him that would always be that poor, humble kid from Louisville. God bless him.
