I know everybody has been curious about the ending result regarding Tyreak Sapp and the University of Florida, and understandably so. He is a top-35 prospect from the 2021 class and an All-American out of powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas.
This afternoon, I spoke with Roger Harriott, STA's head coach, and he proved me with this positive update regarding Sapp's status.
"He just finished a recovery course and should be on UF's campus soon," Harriott told me this afternoon. "Not sure exactly when, but it should be very soon."
We weren't expecting Sapp to arrive on campus several weeks ago, while there were rumors about him possibly going to JUCO, but that won't be happening. UF has been optimistic about getting him in Gainesville before the season, and it sounds like that is going to happen.
