--The turnout at Fan Day inside of the indoor practice facility was quite impressive. For most of the two hours, the line was down the side of the O'Dome and into the parking lot.

--Unlike previous years, where position groups were separated at tables in different areas, this year's setup was interesting. Players from different position groups were mixed around. Some sat together at tables and signed autographs, while others stood around the field and had fans line up for each individual. Overall, I noticed more player-fan interaction than in years past.

--There were plenty of games for the kids, including pop-a-shots, cone drills and a kicking station.

--I didn't see Jalen Tabor or C'yontai Lewis there, to no surprise. Both players remain suspended but should return to the team next week.

--A position sign: C.J. Worton (foot) is no longer wearing a walking boot. He was walking around in normal sneakers without any braces and signing autographs for fans today.

--Same deal with Chris Thompson, who McElwain said had a leg injury. Thompson wasn't in any braces or on crutches or anything of that sort.

--Quincy Lenton (foot) was on crutches and in a walking boot. He still managed to interact with plenty of fans there. C.J. McWilliams, on crutches and wearing a knee brace, was there as well. Same with Antonio Riles (also out with a torn ACL), who was sitting at one of the tables.
