This has to be the best class the Gators have ever signed, easily. We have 4 elite recruits who would have scored at the NCAA national championships as high school juniors: Clayton Brown in the high jump and just missing in the triple jump; Grant Holloway in the long jump and would have scored indoor the 60m hurdles; Noah Lyles in the 200m and just missing in the 100m; and, Josephus Lyles in the 400m. And Holloway, Noah Lyles and Josephus Lyles could have run on either of the relays. Mouse also signed 3 800m runners who could develop into national scorers and Connor Bundel is one of the top 15 discus throwers in the country. Add those athletes to Ryan Clark, who will be a freshman this year and it is pretty easy to see that UF is going to be dominant as long as this group stays together.

Another interesting point is that Hugh Graham will be eligible for the outdoor season, so it is hard to imagine that anyone can compete with UF this season if they stay healthy. In particular, I think the NCAA record in the 4x400m relay could be shattered if Hall, Glass, Graham and (fill in the blank) are healthy. Clark is also a great 400m runner who has run the relay internationally on US junior teams, Uruburu could go under 46 this season, Eric Futch will contend for the 400mIH title, Tim Holmes placed 4th as a frosh at Baylor in the 400 IH at the 2014 NCAA Championships and 3rd at the World Junior Championships and UF has an incoming Nigerian who is could run under 46. If UF were allowed to run a B team, I am pretty certain they would place in the top 8. UF could easily have 4 athletes place in the top 8 in the 400 and Hall and Glass would be favorites if they are healthy, with Graham not far behind. But, sprinters are injury prone so we have to see how it plays out.
