OT: Breakfast recommendations in Gainesville

My wife and I are taking our daughter to her first basketball game, then spending the night in Gainesville on Saturday. Anyone have any recommendations for breakfast in Gainesville (besides the chains)? I vaguely remember a place near the Publix on 34th, but I haven't been there since before most of the undergrads were born. I do realize it's V-Day, so it may be busy.
