Well they start with 4 OOC GAMES. Virginia Tech that 7-6 powerhouse who beat them at OSU but lost 6-3 to Wake Forest is 1st followed by Hawaii, N.Illinois and then W.Michigan. That is disgraceful but obviously they know how to get to the final four. This should be taken into account unlike his year when a loss to an awful team still let them into the playoff.

With the coaching additions just made by the Big 10, things are going to get tougher for OSU so you can probably sleep a little easier tonight.....

Ohio State is loaded next year. They we actually a year ahead of schedule. They will be in the playoff again next year.

so stating the obvious is now someone being butt hurt, they have the worst schedules every year and everyone knows it..

I agree their schedule is bad. They got into the playoff because of their name recognition, that they would bring a lot of fans and the Big 10
has a conference championship game that they went out and won.

Dang straight.

Ohio St. actually has a very strong OOC schedule typically. They've played teams like Texas, USC, Miami, etc. But yea...that OOC is indefensible, it's really, really bad.

The only recent coaching addition made in the Big 10 that might make things tougher for OSU is Harbaugh. The others at Whiskey and Nebraska, probably not.

Um, there is not a single 1AA/FCS team on that schedule. VT is usually a solid program and No. Ill has been one of the better mid majors recently. Nothing wrong at all with that OOC.

2015:

New Mexico State

FAU
FSU
It's okay, sad. you play in the SEC.

This ^^^^^^^^

You all know damn well that you schedule games a minimum of 6 years out, no one knew VT was going to fizzle out. Its also why the committee says it will consider "intent of the OOC.".

3 of OSU's 4 OOC opponents played in bowls.

They defeated THREE of the final AP top 5.

And no conference was close to as pathetic as the Big12

I agree. I wish we would play more top 10-15 type programs OOC BUT I understand why we don't. If you look across college football the trend is to play 1 top program, a solid program from a power 5, a Mac-type program, and then an FCS school. FSU is traditionally a top 10 program so that's our one top game. In years when we play Miami we have the solid program locked and then you have the FCS school and a team like UCF or FAU. So we're really just doing what everybody else is doing.

We accept your apology (on behalf of your brethren) for the all the crap thrown towards FSU regarding its 2014 strength of schedule.

David Pollack (ESPN), "I gotta give FSU credit for attempting to put together the best out of conference schedule in the country." --after the Committee released its final rankings.

Yea a while back I mentioned that I was actually impressed with what FSU tried to do. They caught some of those teams in off-years but it's hard to argue with Oklahoma St., UF, Notre Dame, it just didn't work out.
