(Hear me out, lol)
A local cop died on the 7th from an apparent heart attack after a 30+ years of service. The positive...
Cops from EVERYWHERE along with citizens turned out in droves to his funeral. We laid him to rest yesterday and the funeral procession was over a mile long with more than a hundred off duty police vehicles escorting him to his final resting place with their blue lights on.
The community response was amazing. Along the entire route, even on 4 lane divided highways, people turned on their hazards, stopped their cars, and many got out of their vehicles with their hands over their hearts to pay respect to this man who devoted his life to serving his community.
It was a moving experience for his family and it was well deserved. RIP DW.
