Alabama is having a "surge" of Covid cases. There are no ICU beds available in Montgomery, few in Birmingham, and a spike in cases and hospital admissions in Tuscaloosa. I cannot imagine Alabama beginning football practice in a few weeks with this continuing to escalate.
I just hope this is not a harbinger of what will happen elsewhere in the South, or the country for that matter.
